ronnieh Minors (Rookie Ball) Join Date: Apr 2015 Posts: 44	Rule V returns retaining contract When a player on a minor league contract is drafted in rule V, stays with the team into the season (long enough to get a major league contract) and then is released. He appears on the original teams DFA list correctly. However, he is now retaining the major league contract. In this scenario in previous versions the contract would revert back to a minor league contract. I have observed this in online leagues but I have not tested on a solo league.
