I agree with you Wolf, always have on this subject. I'm not against graphics per se, what I am against is the allocation of a huge amount resources into an area where the bang for the buck will be minimal at best.
Resources that would be better spent on improving legacy issues, maybe acquiring an MLB/MLBPA license, better marketing, and of course cloud saves, head to head steam match-ups, and a workshop as you suggested. Maybe these things don't sound as sexy as a 3D ballpark modeler but in the end they'd be more beneficial I think. Doesn't mean I won't support the game, I will wholeheartedly. I just hope that this isn't a colossal mistake.
