Licence Issue with Poor Internet
I previously activated the game and normally have no issue starting the game. However, it appears that in one location where I play OOTP, the license service is either blocked or my connection is just poor.
When this happens the game takes a long time to load and then the only options I have are to "Purchase OOTP 20 Now" or "Enter License Key' If I click "Enter License Key", my license key is pre-filled in (since I've already activated the game). But if I click "OK" to activate the game again it takes a long time before timing out. I've found that if I turn off all my network adapters so the game can't access the internet at all, the game opens up normally and I can continue my game without being asked to enter my license. So, I've found a work around, but it's very annoying to have to turn things off to get the game started. It seems like if the game has already been activated and the license key is stored, a network timeout should be treated the same as if there was no internet and not as if the game has never been activated. |

All of your network adapters? I mean I know it shouldn't be doing that to you but if the fix is that all you need to do is turn your wifi off when opening OOTP then it shouldn't be too much of an annoyance. Its only a single click of a button.

Plus, when I initially ran into the problem I was waiting for a whole bunch of videos to upload. Not the best time to turn off the internet to open a game. It isn't a huge issue and there is a work around, but it's still an issue. |

If you are using Windows you can set up a rule in Windows Firewall to block OOTP when you are outside of your 'home' network so you don't have to manually turn your internet connections on/off.
