GBP Sign/ Currency Symbol?

Hi, just a quick question. I'm from the UK so I like to play the game with the money in £. However, the screens get a little clustered because instead of the Pound sign it just says GBP.

Is there any way that I can change that in the settings or I am I going to have to get used to it saying GBP?

It's just weird to see, especially how every other currency has their symbol.
