This happened to my top pitching prospect / draft pick in his rookie season!! Except he's projected to miss between 12-13 months

Yep... I did an inaugural draft and my top pitcher got out. So I had a 2 star guy left, and the rest 1-star... then the 2-star guy got out. Now I have 5 1-star SPs in the rotation, two from AAA, and won't have either of them back for 3 months. Hopefully next year things will go better. I'm drafting pitchers in the amateur draft, for sure!

Did you expect him to deny it? He can't.

Feel your pain. In my current game, I lost my ace - on a HOF track, age 32, signed for one more year (at the start of the contract, it set the standard, now he's not even on the first page of highest deals, how much things change...).

And I lost him in the first week of September. Without him, we crashed out of the playoffs. Now he won't be back until the cusp of next year's playoffs. At which time I have to decide whether to extend him for ages 34-37 (potential HOF, remember) or not. Just coming off surgery...

If you See in 2045 he was having a great season then In august got injured out for 13 months was not really the same, he kept getting injured after that but he won 12 game in 2053 and has 2 this year. The crappy part about that is the next day or with in the next week I simmed I lost my #2 starter for 6 months both pitchers lost everything pretty much after that.
