Fictional Roster Limits

Hey folks,

I have created a fictional league with five levels of minors. The roster limits on all but the lowest level is 25. Probably due to the fact that injuries are on high, I am finding that I am having to readjust my lineups almost every day, which is a bit too tedious for my liking.

I am thinking of upping those limits to around 28 and filling those spots with some extra bodies, sort of like "permabackups" at each level so I am not constantly yanking people up and down. Curious if anyone has had the same experience and what they did.

Ideas appreciated!

I use 35 in AAA, AA, and A, then 40 in Rookie and/or SA.

I only have 3 levels. Top 2 are 30 single A is unlimited. I have zero issues with sign/release or good players on waivers or in the Rule 5 draft.

Lowest level should not be below 35 - at least that's what it says in league setup.

I don't set specific minor league roster limits but I allow myself ~30 players per level for the same reasons as the OP.

Same here. I try to avoid keeping more than 27 above single A though.

Pretty much. I try not to have more than 30 at any level myself

Perhaps counter-intuitively, no limits on AAA, 30 on AA, 30 on A, no limits on Rookie. With no limits on AAA you don't get that thing where massive player movements occur when the ML roster expands to 40. You have to play house-rules and resist the temptation to load up on minor league free agents in AAA. The other teams will stay around 25 with no limits at AAA.
