I'll try to get the Light Heavies and Trial Horses posted by the weekend. Working on rating all the important bare knuckle fighters.

I think that both ratings may be based on the old Stevenson DOS version of the game. I think either may be appropriate.

Data Boxing HW
ST Gordon, Alfonso Ratliff, Memphis Al Jones, Reco Brooks, Charlie James, Pat Duncan, Leroy Caldwell,Donny Long and Jack Palmer. There are a few others that will be added that are in the game in lower weight divisions like Harry Greb and Phil. Jack O'Brien. I'll eventually get around to them but any HW that was in Data Boxing but not Title Bout has now been put on the forum.

As far as the rating goes, I found mine as a downlaod at the Table Top Sports website and tweaked and progressed it as I ran though my uni. Here's a YouTube overview of Teo's career. You can sort of see that change of style taking place, particularly in the 1980 Olympics. Also, when he fought Tyrell Biggs in 1984, he was totally flat-footed and didn't rely upon the jab all that much in that match (it's not included with the clips cited). YouTube - Teofilo Stevenson Well regardless of my view, once again you are giving us some very interesting revisions. Obviously, you're giving this project great thought and producing some excellent results. |

Teofilio Stevenson
I'll probably use your rating as the "official" Stevenson rating. Notice that I gave him a "boxrec" number. I give all of the fighters in my game (amateurs, fantasy guys like Rocky Balboa, and old timers) numbers. This is to prevent overwrite errors that have continually plagued me. The highest boxrec number is still under 500000 so I started at 1000001 for my boxers. I figured that it will be a long time if ever that the boxrec people reach 1000000!

John -
Thanks for your exhaustive work -- I'll definitely be incorporating some of your ratings into my universe(s) and am also looking forward to sampling the non-heavy threads, as well.

Rocky Fighters reposted
None of these ratings are mine. Some are Bear's and the rest comes from I don't know where. What I did was do some research and filled in the bios and included estimated DOBs etc. These ratings include Mickey Goldmill (Rocky's original manager, Duke Evers (Creed's manager), and Mason Dixon (Antonio Tarver's character in Rocky Balboa).
