I found a fairly painless alternative. Copy and paste from MSWord to WordPad, then to the board. It comes out pretty clean as much of the formatting (and thus board coding) is lost when using WordPad.

The ony real issue remains superscript, such as 11th when saying 11th round. The rest of the post after the "th" comes out in superscript. Two work-arounds:
1) Edit the post and remove the < s u p> and < / s u p>
(will not have spaces)
2) While in WordPad type "th" as a separate word and backspace to remove the superscript "th" and you should be good.
