MLB.TV Issues

I've been watching MLB games on this computer all season long. Same computer. Same OS (Windows 10). Same browser (Firefox).

Then all of a sudden a get this. (see screenshot).

I changed NOTHING. Watched game one day, next day can't watch them and it's been like this for several days now. I tried clearing my cookies and everything.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? It's so frustrating. I did absolutely NOTHING different. I haven't changed any settings on my browser (wouldn't know how if I had to). Haven't changed ANYTHING on my computer. Same monitor. Same mouse. Same keyboard. One day I can watch MLB.TV games and the next I can't.

MLB.tv works for me, but something's broken big-time at MLB.com et al. I can't get a box score for Padres-Mets up at all. MLB shows "no data" (literally), and even ESPN's shows a box score of zeroes, which leads me to assume they pull data from MLB.

There's other weird **** that has been going on for longer. The date displayed in the MLB.tv games archive f.e. has been off by a day for most of the year...

OFG, what may have changed is Firefox itself; i.e., an update which you may not have even noticed depending on your settings. Mozilla is constantly updating its browser, which could break things. Try using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer (you may have both on your computer) or Google Chrome.

Whenever I have had issues watching MLB.tv through a browser I test it against another one. Will rule out issues with the browser.

Seems to be working now. I had an issue with Padres-Mets on the app this morning. Every link - box, summary, videos - took me to the recap. But now I can get the boxscore on the app and on mlb.com on my desktop.

Yup, the game tables and stuff work now, but this morning (my time; night of your time) it was like the game had never happened, except it had the 5-2 Mets final.

Usually I get a pop up box when Firefox updates... err, actually not a pop up box but I get taken to an update page instead of my home page when I start Firefox the first time after an update. But that could be just for major updates I guess and not all.

My problem is I can't seem to find Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer on this darn laptop . and I want nothing to do with Chrome.

It's got to be here somewhere... it's a Windows 10 laptop for crying out loud... but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

And FWIW, I still can't watch any mlb.tv games. Paid for it.. can't watch it.

There has to be Edge on a Win10 laptop. It's factory standard I think. It's listed as "Microsoft Edge" in my annoying pseudo start menu, but take that with a grain of salt, since I'm half a world away and it might not be the same in the US.

If you can't do Edge, I would recommend going through MLB.tv customer service, which is akin to getting an enema, but once they have waffled you through everything you already did they occasionally find a useful item at the bottom of their laundry list.

Sorry it's been awhile, but I did switch to Edge and the exact same message came up (see screenshot in my original post).

I can't watch mlb.tv anymore... and I didn't change anything. I get so frustrated with these confounded machines. Especially when something like this happens involving money (I paid to have this service and now can't use). So frustrating.

Thanks for trying to help though. I thought maybe it would work, that maybe a different browser would make a difference. Nope. Exact same behavior (cursor just spins and spins) and exact same message pops up.

I cleared the cookies at the mlb site, but I didn't clear all cookies because I'm afraid that will wipe out all of my saved passwords that I have long since forgotten.
