Some things I noticed
It was mentioned in the other threat to bring up anything that needed improvment so I going to post this here, its what I said in another post:
I also want to add that the biggest oversite of this PBP that need the most fixing is what I'll call "broken communication" the game uses. This is an example of my last game (not word for word, but I'll think you see the point". "The pitcher throws the ball And the first baseman takes the throw from the SS for the out" Somehow the ball went from the pitcher to the SS to the 1B. Its not overtly horrible because at least I know the batter hit it to the SS Heres another one from my last game "The ball is hit high, the 3rd baseman is calling for it and he won't get it. The ball is rolling to the left field wall". Ok, how did the ball get from 3rd base to left field? Where was the left fielder. This is the type of play that happens every so often that just blows the flow of the game. Final point, I had a few times when apparently the announcer is blind. On disputed strikeouts the announcer will say "I don't know what hes talking about it looked good from here" when the ball was low or "Somehow the ump called that high ball for a strike" when its right down the middle. I don't mind that the ump can get the play wrong, but the announcer should get it right. This also occurs at times when there are appeals on did the batter go around and then we see a clear strike anyway. |

Derek:
When you see these problems pop up, please make a note of the PbP output and post it here. Knowing the exact sequence of text is the only way to identify where these problems are located. |
