Bring Da Ruckus: Willowbrook Warriors Weekly

18-11 in May. finished the month on a 7 game winning streak.

For most of the month, i was pulling my hair out trying to find a good balance in the lineup where people could shine. With help from both HC Vince Brunacini & BC Dick Kronfield, we found a good lineup that since implemented wheeled off the winning streak.

We still have a tough road ahead of us after losing Pebbles in the rotation but if we continue to grind we could still make a solid run at the AL Wildcard. I don't know how long i will stick with Carter Holden. While defensively he is great, offensively he is only good every 3rd or 4th game.

Offensively we still need to improve in many ways. We dont have much power and our OBP is not great. Our average and Hits are good though. Pitching side i dont have complaints on the overall stats.

Toro, Rubble, Clinch, Heywood, Cain & Flintstone all did great. Juan had a good final week but still needs to improve.

Back end of the pen is great as always Frog was fantastic and Self was solid. Litchfield 7 Braxton struggled except for a few games here and there.

June's schedule is going to be tough. 17 of 27 games on the road. BC & DEL are both division leaders. GC & ATS are above us in the standings. ATB is in 2nd in the NL East. Pontiac has a winning record vs us and SPR & AND are good but have not played well as of late. Anderson has a ton of injuries to teh ore of their team.

Next Series: Bird City Falcons

3 games @ Bird City.
So far this season the Falcons are teh surprise team. they are still very young but are building a solid core of players that is centered around 3b Bart Rowe, RF Ichiro Rf Keith Ramlock & 1b Stephon Stewart. They have backups that would be starters on most teams. Boland has been their ace for several seasons now and SP like JD Rawlings, Greg Burns & Saka Fifth have come up in the last few seasons. They have a ton of speed throughout their lineup but dont have much power overall. They have an excellent pen.

2-3 so far this month.
Rotation has not been that good so far. I demoted 2b Andy Bradley since all he can do is play 2b or DH and I have people at both positions. i brought up IF Milan Cubrilovic. I dont expect him to hit very well but he is a beyond excellent defensive IF. Can play all 4 IF spots with precision.

3 games @ Delgado this week, hopefully we can get lucky and take 2 of 3.Then 4 at home vs Pontiac.

Player Spotlight
SS Milan Cubrilovic R/R Acquired in the Raphael Coffey trade, Milan is a great defensive IF. While he may turn into a starter at some point he will be an excellent utility IF.
