World Baseball Hierarchy: Best DAMN online league, period!
Want something a bit different in a fictional league? The World Baseball Hierarchy (WBH) is a long-running promotion/relegation league with a unique structure based on the 2006 World Baseball Classic. It's a promotion/relegation structure in a hierarchy; play in one of 7 country leagues, trying to fight your way to the top (winning the USA Championship). We've got over 20 seasons under our belt, and we expect to go for many years to come.
Full League Name (Initials): World Baseball Hierarchy (WBH) Main URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com Reports URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/lgreports/news/html/ Boards URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/forum Leaderboards URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/wbh_tools/leaders Commissioner(s) OOTP Forum Username(s): suzerain Email Address: commish@worldbaseballhierarchy.com OOTP Version: OOTP 13 Game Needed: Required Players: Fictional # of Teams: 56 Export Deadlines Days And Times: Sun, Tue, Thu 10 PM EST League Time Per Sim: 7 days First Season: 2006 Latest Season: 2031 Special Rules & Settings: Scouting/Coaching Turned off, promotion/relegation structure, some finance tweaks Currently Available Teams: See below To join, please go here: Join URL: worldbaseballhierarchy.com/wbh/join We do not respond to requests to join posted here on the forum. You need to use the form on our website. We're looking for owners who can stick around for a while; we pride ourselves on our rich history. AVAILABLE TEAMS: Colon Cougars. A team with not much of a history in terms of winning. Your chance to make your mark. Nagasaki Blues. Nagasaki is currently in the second tier. Taking over right now means being in a relegation battle, but even if relegated, this is a team with something to build on for the future. Mao Dadaistas. Mao's been an up and down team over the years. They're currently in the thick of a pennant race in our third tier, with a good chance at promotion. Last edited by suzerain; 07-22-2013 at 08:33 AM. |

Truly one of the best online leagues ever.
At least 50 GM's, most of which read the boards daily, and post almost as often. Great promotion/relegation system. Competitive, social, well-run.

I have been in the WBH for 19 seasons.
I have tried maybe 10 to 12 different leagues and have settled on the WBH as one of two leagues that I have been involved with for several real-life years. Human owners in the WBH are very active. There are plenty of teams to trade with. Most owners are pretty responsive to trade offers and inquiries. It is a pretty friendly and respectful group also. If you are just starting out, this is a good league. There are plenty of people willing to help and answer any questions. The board of directors runs the league well. Duties are shared which helps distribute the workload and assures that the ball isn't dropped. Sims run fairly regularly with minimal delays due to real life situations or game problems beyond the control of the comissioner. The best part of this league is that out of a 4 team division, the top two are battling to get a playoff spot to win the league and be promoted. The bottom two teams are in a battle to avoid being the losing team which will be demoted. Most seasons are an exciting challenge. |

I was the creator and original owner of Barquisimeto. Had to leave after two seasons for personal reasons.
I am now highly interested in taking over Changsha. I have filled out the form mentioned in the OP. Let me know.

If you're looking for a well run league with TONS of history, then look no further. the WBH is hands down one of the best OOTP leagues in history.
A unique league set-up keeps you on your toes, regardless of where you are in the standings. Countless GMs worth their weight in salt. If you haven't checked us out yet, you're doing yourself a great disservice.

One of the most consistent OOTP online leagues I have ever been in. Sims on schedule, any issues fixed quickly and fairly, and just professionally ran in general. Recommended for sure!

Hello - I put in an application several days ago. Can someone verify that the league received it?
Thanks, Jason Martin |
