Talking Guess who hit .247 again...

So I ran 2020 season sim and Khris Davis hit .247 again....
His overall production wasn't good enough but hitting .247 is just perfect lol

It is an amazing phenomenon that those first four seasons of batting .247 are real. I cannot get over that. It's not like you can aim for that all season long; maybe you can tank on the last day if you're at .249 (and maybe he did so in 2018 but I doubt it). Just amazing. He did tank in 2019, though unintentionally (.220 and down 25 homers and 50 RBIs from 2018 in only 133 games - must have been injured at some point).

He is going to have to pick up the pace, though. 2019 hurt him bad in this regard. Now he's going to have to hit over .250 for the next five seasons to get back to a career .247 batting average.

Here, I have a spreadsheet to prove it (given the assumptions, of course).
