My first 3D ballpark model

Ok so this is the first 3D ballpark model that we featured in a game broadcast on Twitch.

It took about 2 days to complete, and though there are a few issues with signs not displaying as intended, I am basically very happy with it. This wiki page gives some glimpses of the overall look and some detail shots of features.

I did two other parks before this one, a sandlot for one of our feeder teams was the main "learning" 3D model, and then a pretty plain jane ballpark for the team I manage as commish.

All parks, teams and players are fictional in our league.

Thanks to Silvam for the awesome videos that helped me finally wrap my head around how to create and import these beauties.

Wow, that’s amazing. Love your wiki style presentation of your park with your history. Keep it up!

You created an entire wiki for your Bull League? How long did that take? that would be cool for my Endor League or American Baseball Federation. Also where can i get that park?

Let me tell you, installing MediaWiki and learning how to update it ... that was not easy. It's been an ongoing project for 2 years. Up to over 440 pages now (not including media files, categories, etc).

I'm not exceedingly technical so upgrading to the latest MW version has been outside of my reach, I keep getting errors. Every MW install is unique but I could possibly help ge tyou started or at least offer some tips. It's free, which is a big attraction.

The main issue is you need dedicated volunteers to keep it up to date. I don't bother with player pages, for example, because the stats change each season and there's far too many players to keep all up to date. There is no way to have it import from OOTP that I can find.

I can put the park file up later as a download right from the wiki page. Give me a day or two to zip it with the supporting images, etc.

I'd like to do one of my leagues on Wookiepedia since it is Star wars related.
