Is it possible to "quick start" on a different day than 'today'? And if so, how?
Pretend I'm stupid (because I am) and explain it step by step, thanks

you could make a quickstart template of your own -- the difference being you'd be stuck with the same set of players to start each time ... you could delete and replace, but that's not quite the same, i don't beleive.
so, if you wanted to do that.. create a league but pre-date it (this may not work well if you want non-fictional players). zoom out to the date you want to start -- erase history if it is fictional and it's just like new. make a template once everything is reset or whatever needs to be done. then you can move that template file to the quickstart folder. with the real mlb, the history part would be the catch. you'd either have a year of simulated stats before you take aover, possibly losing a year of real data plus all the deviations of a sim-year vs 2018 results and personnel movement. no problem for fictional leagues. erase any accrued data and purge db.. .then create template and it's just like starting a new game. |

If you're talking about the live start, if you go through the custom game setup, you can choose another day to start on.
