If you're saying to stop reporting the people who take off all their good players so they get demoted, then no, I'm not going to stop doing that. It would be hardly fair that my actually bad team is stuck in perfect team because there's two or more teams throwing out bronze and silver pitchers in Perfect while their historical diamonds and perfects sit on their reserve roster.

After almost a year of PT19 and PT20, we are still reading these posts about tanking. If we don't understand by now that tanking is a loosely defined entity by the OOTP team to allow them to go after the most serious offenders, then we haven't been paying much attention.

To those that do the reporting - go for it.

To those getting reported - don't sweat it unless OOTP contacts you.

It shouldn't be necessary to carry on the discussion forever.

What is tanking and what isn't is something we can discuss until we are all blue in the face and they are rolling out OOTP 24. Last Saturday in Perfect I removed some cards from my team to put them up for sale, thinking I was going to head for relegation anyway. Plugged in some low gold cards that were on hand, then ironically didn't get relegated from a tie for the red zone. Was that tanking?

(shrugs!)

But I do agree that they should go after the obnoxious cases really hard.
