Allow Trading of recently drafted players

I may need to move this to the bug forum, but it seems that the functionality does not work whether the box is checked or not.

Do you mean that teams are trading these players or not?

So you made a trade involving a draft pick?

There are 2 different things we are talking about here. The ability to trade recently drafted players and the ability to trade draft picks. If you do not allow recently drafted players then players that are drafted cannot be traded until the next season's draft. That doesn't control the ability to trade draft picks in the amateur draft.

Sounds like you need to check/uncheck the item that allows the trading of draft picks.

This has nothing to do with trading picks.

P.S. Although maybe trading picks enabled makes a difference if it is a bug.

Haven't tested this one in OOTP15, but I know this phenomenon has been around in other versions. It seems like every trade offer that I get from an AI team wants a recently drafted player as part of the package. It would make sense for the AI to behave this way when it deals with other AI teams. I play with "Allow trading of recently drafted players" unchecked, but I've seen deals with recently drafted players in spite of this. Again this is in previous versions, but I have noticed it.

No I don't. I play random debut historical with a reserve roster instead of the 40-man. I have a 7 round draft every year with new random historical rookies.

Teams are able to trade the newly drafted players. I had an offer a few days after the draft which included one of my recently drafted players. I then tried to test it out trying to trade my 1st round pick and had the ability too. I went and changed the setting and had the same result. I then changed it back to not allowing newly drafted players to be traded and trades were still able to be accepted.

Thanks Again everyone

I know I had the issue in OOTP14 where guys coming from Feeder leagues were being traded as if they had less than one year of service,(still have not set feeders in OOTP15)
