Tournament 8 Teams do-or-die

There is a maximum of 3 games for a 8-team do-or-die tournament,
yet it is impoosible to have a 3-Man starting rotation.
Tightest rotation is 4 SPs.

That doesn't feel right.

Any "work-arounds" here?

My two cents: Allow SP in relief ?

Only fill three slots; but you have to set the rotation to a 4-man for it to work (you can't submit a 5-man rotation with two open slots, I think).

Congrats, you have one more reliever who won't ever, ever get too tired.

Or are you rocking 18 hitters?

I am using my regular season lineup for tournaments, as I don't keep cards on my reserve roster. So, only 13 batters (2 C, 6 Inf, 5 Outf).

I'm sure that having access to a 9th reliever over three games will be the difference maker! Eight is just too few

I can see how one more arm could save a tourney.

But what are the odds, in a 3-game series?

Good question, though. Because if you're using Iron Man era starters, a 3 man rotation can even become standard in regular season.

"Stamina 145? You made the team."

Yeah, I really want that guy to be able to give up 13 runs without breaking a sweat.
