Baseball League Major has moved to 19 and needs one GM

Baseball League Major started in the 2016 season has just completed the 2022 season. We have recently converted to OOTP 19 and have one opening, the Arizona Diamondbacks

League Info:
1-20 rating scale
100 TR
Injuries set to low
Batter & Pitcher aging set to 0.88
Stars, Scouting, Coaches all on
Houes rules regarding contracts, rule V draft, etc
Arizona Fall League (tournament)

Complete list of rules and house rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...YBxe1qTUw/edit

Team Info:
The Arizona Diamondbacks just finished an 82-80 season, an average record for most teams but this year they clinched a wildcard spot (promptly eliminated in the wildcard). They have one of the best SP in the league in Julio Urias, and were carried by their offense, which scored the 4th most runs in the NL. Their farm system is ranked 13th according to OSA.

Reports: http://blm.sportsrealm.net/lgreports..._144_home.html

We have a great and stable group of GMs. If you're interested in taking Arizona and hopefully push them to the next level, please contact me: 445mrdavid@gmail.com

Thanks

New Opening

The Baltimore Orioles are open and in need of a GM. Details on the team...

The Orioles did not start well in this league, dealing with financial troubles and season after season of last place finishes. Years later, they've finally settled their financials and are back in the green; in addition, they've been building their farm system which includes two very nice starting pitchers, but unfortunately that is when their long time GM left. The AL East is one of the most competitive divisions in the league, and the rebuilding O's are seeking a GM who can get them through the final years of the rebuild and compete.

If you're interested, email me (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Thanks

Two New Openings

Just completed the 2023 season, with the Miami Marlins (!?) winning the World Series. Two GMs have decided to step down due to lack of time, so we're looking for 2 GMs who can step in. The two teams...

Oakland A's
After making the playoffs in 3 of 4 seasons, the A's missed the playoffs last year despite winning 86 games, and only won 80 games this season. However, the A's were run very well by their previous GM, and for a small market team, they have a lot of financial flexibility (over 50 million). Their farm system is ranked 7th according to OSA.

Pittsburgh Pirates
People didn't really expect them to make the playoffs, but they did just that, then beat a 100 win Dodgers team in the NLDS, before being eliminated in the NLCS to the Marlins. They have a little financial flexibility, but not a lot. Their farm system is 17th according to OSA but closer to top 10 in my annual personal farm rankings. The NLC has been on the weaker side, so there's no real powerhouse who is winning the NLC every season.

We're a very active league with a great group of GMs. You can find links to reports and house rules in my previous posts in this thread. If interested, please email me (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Thanks

Late Opening

Oakland and Pittsburgh have been filled, but a late opening just came out.

Kansas City Royals
Actually it was the Phillies that were open, but KC GM requested to move to Philly, so now KC is open. The Royals are fresh off a 90 win season before being eliminated in the Wild Card to the Yankees. The Royals were lead by their pitching, but their hitting is no slouch either. Their lineup features a 5 star catcher who's only 23 years old, and another 5 star shortstop who's also 23 years old. It's a strong, young team that has a solid foundation, and a couple nice pieces in the farm. The Royals budget is 154 M and their current payroll is 75.4 M, so they have a decent amount of money to work with.

We are currently in FA, so if you're interested, now is the time to help add a couple key pieces to the Royals and hopefully win the AL Central. If interested, please email me: 445mrdavid@gmail.com

Thanks

Bump.

Now looking for a Royals and Rays GM. We're about a month into the 2024 season.

Both teams made the playoffs last season and have the talent to do so again. The Royals are 21st in budget but have a low payroll and some financial flexibility. The Rays have the 9th best budget because of their long term success in this league.

Please email me if you're interested (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Looking for 2 GMs

Just completed the 2024 season and are approaching a big FA which includes names like Bryce Harper and Francisco Lindor. We have the following 2 teams open:

Chicago White Sox
The White Sox just finished an 81-81 season and their long-time GM stepped down. The team has some premier talent (including a 20/14/15 5 star SP), but needs a GM that will have lots of flexibility (can either try to compete or sell and rebuild). The White Sox farm system is ranked 15th.

Cleveland Indians
The Indians are in the midst of a rebuild. Their rebuild focuses around a 23 year old 5 star 3B with 16 contact and 20 power (1-20 ratings). The Indians farm system is ranked 11th in the league, but they own the 2nd AND 3rd overall picks in the draft, so if you're looking to make your print and rebuild a team, this is the perfect team for you.

If you have questions or interest, just email me: 445mrdavid@gmail.com

Thanks

1 Opening

Got 1 team open as we approach opening day.

Atlanta Braves
The Braves' long-time GM had to step down, and we're hoping someone can help guide this team through their rebuild. While they probably won't match the top teams in terms of talent, they're not terrible either. They are a very young team with a farm system ranked 20th in the league, but 5 guys in the top 100. They've kept their payroll under 100 M, and have some valuable pieces they could trade to help facilitate their rebuild. If you're interested, please email me (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Thanks

One Opening

Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays were actually one of the best teams in the league, but unmotivated GMs have since brought the team down. While the ML team isn't exciting, the team does have 5 top 100 prospects, so there's hope the team will return to prominence in the future.

The league just simmed the first week of the season and switched to S+ during the offseason.

New Opening

Kansas City Royals
The Royals are searching for an active GM. The team is strapped financially, but they have a pair of 26 year old 5 star hitters and a 26 year old 4 star hitter that could be moved to build up their 26th ranked farm and free up some money

The league will be entering spring training in tonight's sim and will be starting the draft soon, so now is a great time to jump in and get familiar with the team and the league. We also use S+ and have feeder leagues, competitive balance picks, and allow trading of IAFA money

If interested send me an email: 445mrdavid@gmail.com

Thanks

New Opening

Currently have one new opening..

Atlanta Braves
Seeking a long term Braves GM to finally give the team some stability. The team made the playoffs in 2026 but fell to a 71-91 record in 2027 due to an inactive GM. The league just concluded the 2027 playoffs and will enter free agency soon, so now is a great time to shape the team to your desire. The Braves have the #5 farm system (according to OSA)

If interested, just email me: 445mrdavid@gmail.com

Thanks!

Phillies Open

Our longtime Phillies GM has stepped down and we are looking for an active GM to take his spot.

The Phillies have a team that is at .500 and a farm system ranked middle of the pack in the league, so there's a lot of flexibility that can be done here (selling off the talent or trading specs and making a push).

If interested, please email me (445mrdavid@gmail.com)

Thanks
