but in the last 3 days, the Missions page has become so slow on my Mac as to be almost unusable.

The Mission page loads slowly at best...but it loads. When I try to advance to page 2, it tells me an error occurred, could not retrieve missions from the server. That's great...but when I then click it away and click next page, it loads page 3 of missions.

I can't get to page 2 at all. I've tried restarting...no good. It's not my machine, as I'm running a 9th gen i5 that's less than a month in use. It's not the game, as 4 days ago it was slow, but worked well.

Is anyone else having this sort of issue?

YES, I was just going to post something similar lol.

It's taking a good 10-15 seconds to load a page. I've just tried clearing the card cache for PT, but haven't noticed an improvement yet.

I did wonder if it was me collecting more cards, but I don't know really.

(also on Mac, to be clear)

I've just managed to scroll through the pages and back (slowly) without an error message. But yeah it's like 10-15 seconds each time.

I´ve got the same problem and I´ve only got 358 cards, so I would guess size of collection is not connected.

It's not just Macs, my laptop (which runs fortnite) takes 10-15 secs to go to another page. I think it has to be a server issue. I also find it annoying that the card pictures are downloaded each time, why can't they be stored on the hard drive and get updated when they need to be, like for live cards?

They are, that's because it's much quicker the second time. The game does, however, check with the server if the card in the local cache is still up to date. Hence it still needs a little time to display.

I would be poised to think it's a server issue rather than one with collecting cards. Right now, going through missions is buttery smooth (takes maybe two seconds to change pages or re-sort), but now it's night in the US, so there is going to be a whole lot less load on the system.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about computers. I would barely recognize a baseball if it struck me square in the nose.
