Actually, now my program crashes as soon as I double click on it. So thanks a lot for that...
Sorry to sound snarky, but following tech support instructions generally shouldn't have the result of making things worse. |

Is there any update on this issue? I just finished playing my 2021 season (13 seasons into the game) using the real MLB rosters that came with the game. I start up the game this afternoon, and since my season has just ended, I start to look for personnel to sign. When I click on the Available Personnel link, I get the "OOTP 10 has stopped working" message. I thought it was just the way the game started up so I restarted the game and same thing. I can access all other menus and functions in the game with no problems. I even tried accessing the Available Personnel link by going through the Transaction function first and then clicking on Available Personnel within that screen....same thing happened. Then I thought it might be an issue with the day I was on so I tried "Finish Today" and the same issue occurred on the next day.
I'm running on Vista 32-bit with the latest version of the game, and have had no problems up to this point. I tried shutting down virus protection, but that didn't help, which didn't surprise me since I'd used the Personnel function with virus protection on for the previous 12 seasons with no issues. Any update or news on this issue would be greatly appreciated. |

Well, I seemed to have gotten around the issue by leaving my virus protection on and simply excluding the OOTP folders that I read about in another thread. Those are the OOTP game folder in the Programs folder on your computer and the OOTP folder under the users folder. I did that and restarted the computer, and everything seems to work fine now. Not sure if it will help everyone, but it helped my system.
