Trading after trade deadline?

The trade deadline has passed in my single player game, but the AI keeps offering me trades. Furthermore, the AI is still making trades with each other. I know it's possible to still trade after the deadline, but unless I'm mistaken the players involved must clear waivers first. This has not happened in my game; the players involved never went on waivers at all.

Is this a bug? Anyone else experience this?

Waiver trades work "normally" in all my leagues. Players go on waivers and some trades are cancelled because of claims. Keep in mind that players who have cleared waivers after the trading deadline can be traded.

Do you have option years on and waivers enabled?

These players were never waived though. I'm talking about the AI trading to each other or offering me trades without waivers being involved at all.

When the AI offered you a trade you accepted it and the players were immediately moved?

In a post deadline waiver trade the sequence is you must accept the trade, then dialogue box says player must be put on waivers... ... then you wait until players clear. If any one player is claimed you get a message saying the trade is off.

That suggests a setting or deadline is off.

Nevermind, I do get the waiver popup window if offered a trade and accept it after the deadline.
