Expansion
Is it possible to add teams to other leagues beside the NHL?
I would love to add teams to the KHL or SHL |

None of the other leagues can be expanded yet (other than the minor league teams that accompany NHL expansion.) We may be able to start doing this now that the schedule generator is working at an acceptable level, but there'll likely be some problems with leagues that have complex playoff and/or promotion/relegation systems.

Yes, custom leagues can. I meant leagues in the regular modern game.

Since there is now one team expansion does that also apply for custom leagues and is the max teams per league still 36 teams?

Custom leagues are still two-team expansion, one-team is only for the NHL in modern games.

I don’t want to start a new thread for one Expansion based question so I am going to post it here. I want to take over the Sharks from their inception, since it was more of a dispersal/Expansion do I get the North Star players they chose and the 10 picks thereafter?

If you start in 1991, you get their actual roster. If you start in 1990, it's just a regular expansion draft in July, rather than the two-stage draft where San Jose gets Minnesota players in the first stage, then both teams draft. I'd like to get the full dispersal/expansion procedure working at some point, but there hasn't been time for it so far.
