I don't recall having to ever do it this way in the past to get updated rosters, yet I've managed to get update rosters in past releases. Is this new for this version, or was it always like this, and somehow I managed to accidently "figure it out" without having any clue whatsoever how I did it?

What is your default download folder? You may have 6 copies there.

I did find it eventually, but it simply won't work. I'm not exactly computer knowledgeable as it is, so trying to do weird things that I have absolutely zero understanding of is probably biting off more than I can chew.

Hopefully they'll do a roster update in a different way as time allows. Or I could always simply force trade all the moves in a game if I wanted to.

Will this updated rosters quick start eventually be officially added to the list of other quick starts with a future update...or is this unzip and manually replace method the only way to get updated rosters??

IE it'll overwrite the normal Major's quickstart

You could just rename it before you extract it. Just open the zip file, right click and rename it. Then just drag and drop into the folder you want.

Sorry guys if this doesn't belong in this thread, but if it doesn't, if you would not mind redirecting me to the proper thread I would appreciate it. Anyway, why is Jacob deGrom's movement a 45? Seems a bit low.

It is, based on what he's done this year so far. As mentioned in the initial post though, we didn't update many ratings. The ratings are mostly still based on preseason projections and deGrom allowed a pretty pedestrian 1.25 HR's per 9 inning last year. He's obviously been incredible at preventing HR's this year, at 0.45 but there was probably no way to predict that would happen heading into the year..

Also a newbie here: I can find no OOTP folders on my Mac anywhere. The game is installed and works, so obviously the files and folders must be somewhere, but they don't show up in a search or in the finder.

Is this just me?

Can you look in the finder and search for OOTP Baseball 19? When you do that, what folders come up?

You'd be looking for OOTP Baseball 19\quickstart_games or OOTP Baseball 19\templates

Because we've moved on to updating the roster db with current transactions now and the game uses the Opening Day rosters. So the last roster update is the last one for the year, as we have to work on getting the db prepped in preparation for the offseason and next year.

If this is the last one this year, does that mean you aren't doing the September 1st Quickstart anymore?
