If you have created a template in the beta release, then create a new game in today’s formal release version, will the rosters and other improvements in ratings, etc. be updated, or do you need to start from scratch?

If the latter, would a workaround be to follow the steps below (thinking outside the box):

—Create a new game in today’s release, from scratch
—Export the rosters from this new game
—Create a new game using my template
—Import rosters from other game

There's no discount on Steam, I thought there was a 10% discount on the first week on Steam?

Templates do store players with them, but yes, I think your workaround should be able to work.

You mean the facegens? Yes, those should update in your game. You may need to hit the 'reload' button to get them to show though.

Sounds good. Sorry, but where is the reload button? Will they update on OOTP18 too?

I believe it's in the player editor section. It's actually autoreload iirc.

Keep in mind that if you wait to purchase it on the App Store you will also have to wait for patches to come out as well. I have an iMac and MacBook Air and still find it easier to purchase direct from OOTP instead. Your miles may vary.
