Injury bug - status "Wrecked"?

So this relief pitcher, Tom Collins, has always been "Fragile," but as he never has been injured, I keep him around. But I just noticed that the game has downgraded him from Fragile to Wrecked! (See screen 1.) He has been a minor but reliable member of my bullpen and has pitched well for me for six years (see screen 2), though the AI has stopped using him the last two seasons. The weird thing is, he has never been injured at all (see screen 3).

I find this weird that he could be could be considered "Wrecked" without a single injury, but it's part of an injury bug in the game: Durable players can become Iron Men, Normal players can become Durable, but Fragile players never, ever, become Normal. And as this shows, they can go from Fragile to Wrecked for no reason at all.

And BTW, in the four seasons since these screenshots were taken, he has pitched almost 200 innings -- without a single injury.

With a name like Tom Collins that could be the reason.

Not sure this is a bug. I'm also not sure if OOTP does that same thing.

I think the idea is, once a guy has some physical problems and is fragile (he could have them before entering the Majors and could thus be labeled that way even if he's never been on a major league DL), he has nowhere to go but downhill from there, since age will contribute to whatever's happening to him.

So it seems to me that if a guy is fragile, normal wear and tear will decrease his physical condition over time, even if he never has an injury serious enough to put him on the DL.

Has he ever had minor things that affected him for a few days?
