Smile player cleared waivers. what to do next

Playing 2015 season and tried to trade a player to Texas after trade deadline. Got a message after 3days that player cleared waivers and trade to Texas complete. How do I complete the trade? The player is still on my active roster.

In the message is there a drop down menu in the top left of the message header? Not the screen, the part directly above the message. DOes is give you the option to complete the trade?

Are you on the game date that the message came on? They expire after a certain amount of time.
Is the other player still on the Texas roster? Did they trade him? Did he clear waivers?

Iam on the same date as the message. I think I have to give myelf (manager) Trade responsibility vice GM. That may be the problem. Plus the player I traded for has not cleared waivers yet.

Thanks for the help

I have never done this myself, but I would highly suggest that you back up your league right now. Then sim ahead a few days and see if you can get the trade to go through after your trade partner's player clears waivers. If that doesn't work, you can just restore from your backup.

In that case, you could always make yourself commissioner and just force the trade through or something like that. I think.
