GM control over line-up and quick play to RISP stopping in injury are enough to justify the game for me. Awesome work!

Looking forward to these two:

AI adjustments (playoff pitching rotation, bullpen generation, 40-man roster)
Improved in-game, roster & trade AI

I don't remember, but whatever it was, it was fixed

Trying to remember back - maybe something to do with minor league FA not actually becoming FA for some reason?

Wrong? The word is not in the Wolf's vocabulary.

Yeah!!

I knew there would be gold in a few of the "minor" upgrades...

@Chico, this was definitely not an option before, unless you were able to hack into the source code or something!
If I understand correctly... Should I want to run a minor league setup that doesn't rely on AAA, AA, A etc but instead uses age like Under-18, Under-21 etc I can now name the league level as Under-21 instead of Triple A and can also set the abbreviation as U21 replacing AAA in the game setup.

Whereas now, even though I can name the league Under-21, the game would reflect a Triple A league created

That is pretty cool, and could be the sort of feature fictional players (such as myself) could really stretch and get a lot of mileage out of

Yep. It also lets you name leagues like "A+" to represent the "high-A" leagues. Or if you prefer, its level could be called "hA", "high-A", "up A", or "Joe".

Is there a change to the "use more defensive shifts" setting because of this during sims or is it automatically updated to just use more ideal shifts? Also, what kind of increased realism are we talking about here?

Since I do my own promotions and demotions in my minors now, that feature is really useful.

There's already a setting for that for the minors. I'm still confused what this does.

I like Joe! But seriously, this will be great for fictional leagues. This is good news

I don't think there is. Are you certain? I just looked for it recently when we were discussing stuff in beta and I couldn't find it.

The setting is there for feeder leagues for sure, but I don't think it's there for minor leagues.

I believe that setting refers to the minor league roster AI change, when using ghost players. So the 2 ways to build rosters are either:
-Place players so that you fill up AAA first, then AA, and so on down the line
or
-Place players at the level according to their talent, which means you might have an incomplete AAA team, for example.

I'm not positive, but I believe that's what that referred to.

These five caught my eye.
Quote:
Added leverage options to bullpen roles

Added multi-year player opt-outs in contracts

Added option to always allow the GM control over lineups and pitching staffs even while playing GM-only

Added SQLite support to replace /news/txt files

Tweaked PM notifications for less frequent simulation interruptions
