Huge Appreciation For Historical Contributors
I am glad to see some excitement about the new historical features this year. While I might not end up using all of them personally, additions like real lineups and transactions, along with reserve clause era rules, are huge.
Combined with its ever-improving historical accuracy, OOTP has reached a point where competing baseball simulations have almost nothing left to give them an advantage. The historical gaming experience makes huge leaps in every release, and I think some huge thanks should go to some hard core historical gamers who have contributed a lot of great ideas, suggestions, analysis, and feedback to make it happen. Obviously, Markus and everyone else at OOTP Developments deserve the largest credits, but I wanted to point out a few people who've seemed to consistently put a lot of effort into making the historical experience better. If I've forgotten anyone, please let me know and I'll edit the original post. Le Grande Orange Gambo Spritze pstrickert PhillieFever Questdog endgame Comedian 2004 Garlon M's Rule ... and all historical gamers who have lent their voices over the years to making OOTP Baseball the most comprehensive simulation of historical baseball on the market.
