No, we'll do that one as well most likely. The roster updates that come with the game itself were the "last one" I was talking about.

Oh we wanted an updated Standings easy to do by you guys and Stats would take time. Hopefully Draft Picks are on the Team that Drafted them this year and updated Injured List to.

We'll have another roster update out for September 1st, but it's not coming out today. Not sure exactly when, but it shouldn't be too long.

Does the quickstart not automatically install if you have the game on steam? Because I don't really see it? Is it a separate download even with the steam version?

Yes, you have to download and install it yourself from here, it doesn't come with the game whichever version you have.

Me along with many others can't get this working. Not interested in a quick start. I want to start a new season with these rosters. I'm pretty good with PC and I can't get it. The instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Once you get there make a backup of the file already in that folder called default.wtp
I can't make a backup of a text file. I just replaced it. Nada.. I am getting a bit frustrated.

I have also been unable to use this update and am also frustrated. But my questions are ignored...I have stopped playing OOTP until this is resolved.

Well, after 2 hours I got it. I was going into my documents and changing the game files there. Don't do that. Go to steam, steam apps, common, ootp19, then place these in the quick start. The correct file location is in steam not in my documents.

Really? Because my OOTP17 Steam version data files ARE in My Documents.

The only folders I have under my \Steam\steamapps\common\Out of the Park Baseball 17 are fonts and skins. The rest are in My Documents.

It should be in my documents. If it's in your Steam files, something likely got messed up in the install or you're using a custom folder.

Could we just have a list of which files go where so we can manually copy them? There aren't that many so it would just take a minute and there would be no confusion.

That's basically what's in the first post.

The entire Majors.quick folder goes directly in the quickstart_games folder.

The default.wtp template goes in the world_templates folder. (But you have to back up or overwrite the file that's already there).

That's it.
