External Beta Patch Testing - Volunteers Wanted!

I've done beta testing for other games before. Would love to help out with this game. One of my favorites also got the game on steam.

I kind of alluded to that in an earlier post, quoted below.

It's just a lot easier for us to make test builds and create a beta group on Steam because of how it's set up.

We could do it on the standalone, but it would take a lot more time and effort for us to do that, and it's time we really just don't have

For the same reason all our regular beta testing is done on Steam as well.

I probably play too much OOTP, but am on vacation for a couple weeks now so if it's not necessarily the most time-sensitive I'd be in.

BTW, I have to tell you... aside from the odd 3D glitch here and there, this version and the patches have been incredibly stable on my machine. This is the first version where I have had not one single crash. And nothing has been broken.

I have the Steam version, and can test some of the patches. Bonus would be I use the Linux version exclusively.

This is me too. If you ever need non-Steam users to help in this process, I'm happy to do so. I'm not looking to get anything for free either. I would gladly help simply because I love this product and think it's the best thing going out there for ANY video game.
