If you're purchasing through the app store you'll have to wait until the game is up there. But if you're purchasing through us and installing on a Mac you can do that anytime.

If you have a serial number then enter that after clicking on the activate now or enter license button (I forget exactly what it's called).

After the purchase you'll see a serial number on your order confirmation and you'll be sent an email with it as well.

If you've already purchased the game, check your email for the order confirmation with the serial number.

Related question, if I import a historical save from 18 to 19, when the real players are pulled each year will they be rated according to 19? So players who had a breakout 2017 season will be higher potential?

Related related question, if I import a Challenge Mode save from 18 to 19, it will still be in Challenge Mode, correct? I did it and saw the Challenge Mode logo there but I didn't have time to really go through it.

Related related related question, if you import from 18 to 19 can you get achievements already earned in that save, or do you have to start a new save to get the various "first X" achievements (either on the CM leaderboard or in Steam)?

On 1, yes since the game will now pull players from the OOTP19 db.

On 2, yes.

On 3, you don't get retroactive achievements from last year but if you gain that achievement again while playing in OOTP19 I believe you will then get credit for it at least in some cases though maybe not all.

1. No, if you import a game, player ratings don't change. The only way to get updated ratings is to start a new game

2. Yes, it should remain challenge mode

3. No, if you have already achieved it in the save, you won't get it again. Some that you can earn multiple times (ie. win an MVP), you'll get credit for in the new release, but first X needs to be a new challenge mode game.

So we don't confuse him, I think he was asking about historical play and what will happen when he gets to 2017 in OOTP19. In which case he will get the new ratings, because those players will be freshly pulled from the OOTP19 historical db.

In any other case though, Matt's right and you'd need to start a new game to see any new ratings.

Right, I didn't mean players currently in the game, I mean let's say I'm in historical, I import from 18 to 19, and then at some point I get to 2010 or 2016 (depending on if I'm using historical minors) and Aaron Judge is pulled, then his potential would presumably reflect the OOTP 19 database not the OOTP 18 database (where he was kinda meh if I recall correctly).

It will come out sometime next week, as Markus mentioned. We don't know when though, it depends on Apple.

Thanks. Will player "photos" that did not previously exist be added in my current game transferred to OOTP19? Such as Ian Happ's did not have a profile picture in OOTP18, but I assume he will in 19. Will that apply in my game?
