2 way players

I have a player I just drafted with the potential to play 2 ways in the bigs. How can I make the AI minor league managers play him. both ways without taking AI manager off. Right now he only plays whatever position I set him as. If it helps, he is a better pitcher than hitter.

I'm not sure about this but you could experiment by putting him into the rotation and setting him to start at some position every X days. It will be interesting to see how the game sorts out any conflict as to when he is scheduled to pitch and play a position. Also, you could list him as a top choice reliever and pinch hitter.

This might work but you must be in charge of minor league lineups and pitching staffs. That is, you cannot delegate this authority to your minor league managers because the AI will decide to pitch him or play him, period. There is no auto-setting for two-way player in the game.

If you try doing what I said, can you report back how well it works, if at all?
