Erasing history?

If you start in a historical season say in 1960 can you erase all of the past history of the league?Thank you in advance for any information you can give me on this.

You can start a game with No Career Stats.

So the whole history can be erased? The first Championship team on record would be the winner of your first season in your new historical league?

What about when starting a standard game (ie with all the world leagues activated).
