Probably will in time, but I'd imagine certain cities would have specific official colors, or families/clans/whatever would have them, in certain fictional nations of mine. Of course, just because teams may start out with certain colors, that doesn't mean that they'd always stick with the same colors for their entire histories.

For a real-world example, take the Athletics. Back in Connie Mack's time, for instance, their colors were red, white, and blue, I believe. But now they are green and gold, after two franchise relocations. Look at the NHL's Ducks. They started out with purple and teal and white, with some yellow or gold, but are now primarily orange and black and gold. Even the Devils don't use the same colors that they did as the Scouts or the NHL's Rockies, for that matter.

Some of these teams, I envision changing their looks and/or colors, if not also their names, sometime after 1910 or 1920, at the very latest. But for now, I think certain teams I've done are going to have certain official colors for some time.

I'm not sure yet how certain teams' colors and looks might change in the future, but we'll have to see how things go in certain dynasties of mine. In the real world, certain styles and looks and all are traditional for various nations and all, in various ways. But with assorted fictional places, they may have their own traditions as well, you know, that don't necessarily follow real-world traditions, at times.

Some cultures, even in the real world, have their people wearing very colorful styles and looks, although I can't name one specific culture at the moment, to be honest. In the case of certain fictional lands of mine, this sort of thing may be quite common at times. I'm still working out the related details for said lands and the cultures of those nations' inhabitants, at least to a degree, for at least a few of them.

I'm not discounting what you say, not in the least. But remember, these places don't actually exist in the real world. So the normal cultural conventions that many might expect there to be may or may not exist in those places, in certain ways. Especially if their populations don't have many foreigners from certain real-world nations actually present in those places, as a general percentage of their residents, et cetera.

However, the more contact they have with people from those nations, the more they may or may not be influenced by real-world conventions of various kinds and all. And the more their sports teams or leagues' designs might look like the designs of various real-world teams and/or leagues, I think.

As far as Low's Friars, I believe they'd work well for at least one of my dynasties, if not more than one. Although they'd not be from Pomona, in at least one case. I'll probably use some of his Shock items for Helvarta's Haukikzhala team, and some Buzzards-related items for Kuunola's team from Helvarta as well.

Other places, I'm not sure yet, in certain fictional nations, but I suspect I'll be using quite a few other items from his threads for those cities' teams. How many others, if I've not already saved them? That's yet to be determined, for sure.

Same thing with items done by any number of other designers here, if I haven't already grabbed them or made them. I'm having trouble coming up with a look I'm sufficiently satisfied with for the Mizetanthani Serpents at the current time, so I'll probably also use some of low's recently-made Serpents-related items, I think.

I tried to put an S inside an O for the Suns cap, but it didn't look right. Maybe in time the idea could be done well, with the outside of the O being the outside of the sun. The O could form a roundel of sorts, and the S could be inside the roundel, with points on the sun representing the various titles won by the franchise. Before then, maybe either just an S or an O might work well on the cap, of course.

Will try again to improve the cap later, I think. But for now, perhaps it will work as it now is, somehow. CD out.

In my latest story, without me spoiling too much here, hopefully, I have a certain number of characters now in hiding from known or potential enemies. A fairly good number of those characters are what we would call minors. And I'm not quite sure how to proceed with the current scene that includes a few of them so that it's sufficiently realistic and logical, et cetera, at the moment, unfortunately.

I was hoping you might have a good suggestion or two that I could perhaps consider while trying to continue work on the scene in question, at least generally speaking, you see. I'd really like to get a good deal more of the story's first draft done as soon as I can, of course, but right now, I'm a bit stuck on it, to be honest. CD out.

I think the problem is that people don't do requests much anymore on the Graphics Forum.
They seem to accept your current.posts because you only posted another after the first one was done.

I think you should do your own logos, jerseys and caps... don't think you will get many of them done on the Graphics Forum.

Over 100 people have viewed your request for the Jazz.
You gave them the colors you wanted and told them to do it the way they wanted... and you said they could use the flag, too, if they liked.
No one seems to be interested in doing it.
You have not offended or upset anybody... there is just very few requests being done on the Graphics Forum.

Wait until a week has gone by since you first posted the request... if by then no one does the Amashe Jazz for you, you could post the next request you want done.
rocknfire is a good guy... he may do it for you eventually... just give it some more time... other than him, there is no one actively doing requests on the Graphics Forum.
txranger is doing a few in the Retro thread, but he won't do anything for you... so please don't post in the Retro thread.

Please post a sample of your next request here so I can see it.
You want to keep it very simple and uncomplicated... that will give the best chance to get someone to do it for you.
If no one does your next one... this may indicate that no one is interested in your requests.

I'll wait a little longer before I try to do a logo or two for Anashe myself, I think, though. Maybe others are trying to figure out how to do it but haven't been able to complete work on it, of course, just yet, you know. Sometimes it takes people time to do certain things, obviously, in their lives.

Okay, I'll repost what I have for Maholin at present, and then we can figure out how to word the next thread's first post, as soon and as best as we can, next chance I get. I'll get to that as soon as I can, then.

Txranger probably won't do any more of my requests for quite some time, if ever, but I'll leave that up to him and God to work out, in any case. He isn't the only one who has done things in the Retro thread, of late, I believe, but he's one of the main ones who posts their work there or has in the past.

I did two uniforms for a potential team in a fictional nation called Oglalaland, a team called the Turtle Mountain Tortoises, but haven't been able to find a good tortoiseshell-type pattern yet for them. I don't have caps made for them either, but maybe soon I will, somehow.

I think the next team will be the Maholin Rustlers from Ruifrapso Sokumi, and I do have caps, I believe, for them now. I'd just need logos for them, if I'm not too mistaken here. I'll need to post at least temporarily what I have for them at that time, to show others what I have, so they can get some ideas and all, I think, though.

I'll have to think about them for a bit, in any case, before I post a thread related to them. I'll also want to see if anyone ultimately fills the request for Anashe before too much longer, as well.

I think I'll post new threads only after I get each new chapter of one of my stories done, or one of my teams gets done by someone, if not by myself. I talked to a good friend of mine for a good while last night, and I think I'll be able to continue work on the current chapter for my latest story within a day or two. Perhaps I'll even get it finished by the end of the upcoming weekend at that. At least, that's my hope, anyway, seeing as my birthday's coming up in roughly five weeks from now, on the 11th, when I turn 47.

The Retro Thread was kept alive by txranger and knuckler... they are the heart and soul of it... they never claimed it as their own thread, but it really is... they are the reason so many people like the thread.

txranger recently came back and will do requests if he is interested in doing it... he said he will not do all of them... just things that interests him.

I don't txranger would ever do any graphics for you... that was a bad experience for him and many others on the Graphics Forum.

You should not post in the Retro Thread... that would not be a good idea.

Just post your requests one at a time in just one thread and keep them simple.
Then there is a slight chance someone might help you.

When it comes to God, all things are possible... He has made it possible for you to post two requests on the Graphics Forum and no one has complained about it... I think it is because you kept your request simple and you did not post many, many threads and requests as you once did... that is why people took offense to you.

Just my opinion, it would take God to change txranger's mind about you.
Don't get your hopes up... it may not happen... but, then again, all things are possible with God.

If someone asked for help in creating a league with real cities, it would be OK for you to make some suggestions... just be absolutely sure they want you to give them suggestions.

In general, the designers will not read complicated requests.
If you don't keep it simple, you will not get anyone to do them for you.

Stop rambling about your story... they don't have any idea what that means... only someone who looks at your dynasty reports will have a clue to what you are talking about.

I understand you want old style logos, but I don't do them... nor do many other folks on the Graphics Forum.

I will not be upset if you don't want to use my logos.

What is wrong with the Anashe Jazz primary and secondary logos using the flags?... I would think you might like them... they look a little old-fashioned.

I think I can use them, but not sure yet, as main ones. Certainly as alternates, in any case, along with several others already posted in the thread. I do like them, in truth, and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with them, mind you. They just may not fit at the present time, as main logos, considering the fact that I've never made it to the 1950's or later, if I haven't started then or later, just yet, with any of my dynasties.

The others were asking for clarification about certain things, by the way, so I was trying to clarify things as simply as I could, as best as I could. Hopefully, they aren't upset by my doing so here, of course. But if they are, then that wasn't my intention, you know.
