I'm back and ready to get this game going. I took a nice week and half break.

Really cool.

If I ever get my instate baseball world going correctly I'm wanting to do a completely fictional world. Seeing yours takes shape is a real motivator and inspiration. I'm glad you didn't give up on it.

I'm at the end of the 2013 season and thinking about expand to 22 teams. I would take over one of the expansion teams.

I will be expanding to Valcrest and Redmont. I am trying to think of good nicknames for them and then find logos/uniforms for the teams.

I will take any suggestions.

So I set this game up and everything and now I just don't have the drive/passion to play OOTP. I haven't opened the game in about a month now.

I'm sure you'll come back to it, Klew. It looks like a fantastic world!

I've felt the same way before. You'll get back into it eventually.

Happens to everyone I think. When the drive to play returns you'll be glad it's already set up.

Well reading through this thread has inspired me to make a fictional nation, not sure if I'll ever put it into OOTP but at least I'm making the country. Using the fictional city name generator thing.

Honestly nothing wrong with feeling that way. I've been in the same boat as you. The fun is in making the world playing is a whole different thing.

I use this exact configuration and love it. I wouldn't play any other way.

By the way, I've embarked on a massive project to create my own fictional world. Planning on OOTP16 for it.....it may take that long to complete

I'm trying to determine if I want to sim 10-15 years or just start from the beginning as a team. I would do an inaugural draft.

Also, should I start at 16 teams or start at 24? I think I would cap it at 24 as that is how many cities I created, but I could always add more. Could make it so the mid sized cities are awarded new franchises.

I would start small and make up some story of the country growing when someone stumbled upon some huge invention and the economy boomed after that--would make for an interesting storyline.

I won't be doing a dynasty report, so I don't really need a background story. LOL

I think I will start with 16 teams. I will randomly choose 4 teams from each division. So it will be 2 divisions of 4 teams per league. I will probably expand every 15 or so years.
