Schedule Request
I checked in the Sticky post about already created schedules and couldn't find it in there. Here goes nothing:
110 game season, 32 teams, broken into 8 team divisions. No interleague, you play each division opponent twice and the other division one time, alternating home games. So basically, it's 22 series, 11 home and away each. Now the kicker, I'm looking for the games to be only played Friday-Sunday, meaning Saturday and Sunday are DHs. I figure the start times for the games could be 12:05 and 7:05 and they will all be in the same time zone. Anyone can help with this? I'm doing it day by day, but without a copy and paste in the in game editor, it's going to be a while. Thanks in advance

Okay, so in the process of doing this by hand and I have a question in regards to team numbers. When I'm looking at the team reports in html, the numbers for the team names don't correspond to the numbers in the isdl file. How to I get real team numbers then?

I'm not too sure what you're asking, but what I usually do is make the schedules "on paper" with numbers in mind, not teams. Once I've set up an outline for how each set of series will be scheduled by number, then I assign a number to a team. Then I go into the schedule editor, delete the game-generated schedule, then schedule the games manually.
Example: 1 - Bal 2 - Bos 3 - Cle 4 - Det 5 - Mil 6 - NY 7 - TB 8 - Tor 1-8 2-7 3-6 4-5 1-7 2-8 3-5 4-6 etc. |

Thanks for the reply. So here's what's happening. I'm going in to the manual scheduler and scheduling Team A vs Team B. When I open the ISDL file in text edit, it will say Team 1 vs Team 2. If I go and open the reports and view my standings as a HTML file, Team A is showing up as team14 and Team B is showing up as team7.
So, how to I actually find out what Team number is correct for so I can speed up the scheduling process?

I posted this a while ago and was wondering if anyone had anytime to work on this? If not, I appreciate you reading the thread anyway.
