Question about customizing schedule IN-GAME
I just would like to know can I edit the games after the computer generates a schedule in the off season. I play a 82 game schedule/3 Game Series but the computer does not set up home and home against the teams in my division and no Inter League Play as well. I just would like to change the existing schedule where I play the teams in my division more often and a couple of Inter-League Series as well.

You can edit your schedule inside the game, but if I recall correctly it's best to make schedule changes during the pre-season part of the game. The in-game editor is found in the Editors section ("Edit League Schedule") of the League Preferences screen. While the editor can get the job done, it's not particularly user-friendly.
Depending on your skills with spreadsheet apps, you may find it easier to export the schedule file and edit it outside the game. |

Yes, the schedule editor in OOTP really is not that great. I have learned how to export and edit schedules myself, it's not that hard. It just takes a little time.

I took a whole day to enter a 100 game schedule inside the game. It was time-consuming but not that difficult. A few years later (last year) I edited that same schedule inside of notepad and created schedules for 110, 120, & 130 games. Did all 3 of the mods in about an hour. It was pretty easy.

Thank you for all the assistance. I guess I will give outside scheduling a try.
