NHL trades

Hi All,

First off, the game is great, love it! thank you all who are involved in getting this to the public!

I was wondering if you will be doing any changes to the trading logic in the game.

I know it was spoken about here a few times regarding the difficulty/easiness of trading, but what i'm aiming is the fact that some of the trades i'm able to make are just flat out unrealistic (in my humble opinion )

examples : started a PtG season with the Penguins.
I don't like my left wing situation so i go and offer an injured Trevor Daley(out for 3months) rights to a 2star prospect and 2x 3rd round picks and get back Panarin

World cup of hockey happens and malkin gets injured for 8 months. so i go and trade him and a 4th,2x5th and a 6th round pick for Kane from the Hawks.

roll on 2 months and Crosby gets a concussion! out 14months, season ruined until i try and see if i can trade him too... and i promptly get Barkov from the Panthers and their 1st round pick.

i have absolutely no issue with the injuries, specially to crosby and malkin, they always seem to have something nagging them...

only if Letang didn't get injured 2 days after the trade deadline i would've gone and traded him too

the question on the end of this all is, will the trading AI get work done to it for FHM4???

in case you wonder... i traded fluery for shattenkirk too, kessel + 2x 7th round picks for galchenyuk (don't think that would've happened in real life) and a lot more and still didn't win the cup in year 1, but i blame it on the Letang injury

Yeah, a trading (and roster management in general) overhaul is definitely high on the list for 4. We made some early moves in that direction this year (e.g. the way national team rosters are selected is tied much more to the team's needs relative to the tactics they use instead of just choosing the best-rated players), and the next step is moving that into the way regular teams evaluate their roster and needs. And we know the whole UI side of the trading experience needs an overhaul, the old OOTP-based one is really showing its age and becoming a nuisance to maintain.
