Save System MLB Manager vs. Football Manager

I'll be playing through a season as the Tigers, another as the Rangers, and possibly as the 80's/90's Tigers (from my childhood). Personally, I'd like to take one of them to the World Series, so I was hoping the save system would have been improved. I was hoping again that we might get a save system much like the Football Manager Mobile handheld series.

With FMM you can begin a career, it will auto save to two different save slots at moments after matches. THEN on top of that, and separate from those, there are FOUR save slots where you can make manual saves at any point outside of matches on any career. So, that same career could have four different saves (one from early in the season, another more recent, one before a pivotal match, etc.). And FMM also has four iCloud saves which can be easily uploaded and downloaded between multiple iOS devices.

With a save system like that, I could use my short gaming time and make sure I make it to the WS with one of those careers I want to play. Unfortunately, with the current system, manual and auto saves seem to work the same. I don't understand the difference between closing the app and having it auto save after my last game, and manually saving after the last game. It would nice if we had even one save slot that could be fully manual and allow us to reload it no matter how much further we've played on the auto save slot. Right now both save to the same "slot" it seems. So, to play like I want to play, the save system needs a bit of updating.

FMM
2 auto saves slots
4 manual save slots
4 iCloud save slots

MLB Manager
1 save per career

Is it even possible to allow us to make multiple saves at different times within the one career file structure or is the game's file structure not able to do this? And if not, is it possible to add Save States in the main menu, opening the specific career at the specific moment or state that we manually saved it at? And would anyone else here even be interested in being able to have manual saves throughout your career (in case you make a mistake or want to revisit an old game in the season)?

So essentially you just want to cheat?

Yup. In 2017 I want the option to "cheat" in an analytical sport sim. You could also think of it as a digital chess game where you have the option to take a move back in order to learn how to do it better. But if you want to boil that option down to cheating, then yes, I want that option. As an option, it allows us cheaters to also enjoy the game in the way we want to instead of just having to deal with playing it the way others want to.

Haha I was kidding, it's clearly a good idea and something that seems to be an easy thing to implement.

Haha! I think every year when I mention it someone says cheating so I can never be sure how die hard they are! Having uploaded ballpark images to my older jail broken iPhones, I've seen their file system, and it seems like the game generates a whole file structure for each career save instead of each career using the same files and only sharing save locations. So, each save was buried within each career as opposed to FMM having all saves in one location. So, I wasn't sure if it would be easy to implement or require a lot of recoding.

Who knows, there's a ton of little things they could fix or create but don't.

I'm pretty sure once the game releases they for the most part move on to other projects.

They'll be around for any glaring bugs, but they're not going to make any "improvements"

It would also be great if they'd allow us to save a Master File so we don't have to edit the damn rosters every single sim. I actually play the game more and more infrequently as the season goes along because of this very issue.
