In online leagues, does re-exporting work OK?
Hi all,
In an online league, GMs each export their saved games to the Commissioner, who eventually uses these exports to sim the next series of games. That process works great, in my experience. My league is blessed with a very diligent and fair Commissioner. In theory, a GM can upload successive exports before a given sim, each export overwriting the one before it. Does this work in practice? That is, are there any bugs with successive exports? I ask because one or two GMs in my league may have experienced problems when they exported more than once before a sim during our Inaugural Draft; the game didn't seem to recognize their draft choices. Now we're past the draft season. I submitted my most recent export before I realized that I hadn't responded to a player's reasonable request for an extension. I still have a day before the export is due. Is there any risk in my completing the extension, saving, and re-exporting? If for some reason the game tossed *both* my exports, then I'd be stuck with a 3-man rotation. That would not be good! So, does anyone have experience re-exporting before a sim is due? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, it's fine. It just over-writes the previous export since they have the same name.
