Ratings in export
I've noticed that player ratings in exports don't match the player ratings I can see in the player editor.
For example, if I export "players_batting" and then look at any specific player, the numbers don't match what I see in the editor. I've ensured the "Show real player ratings" box is checked in the export configuration section so that's not the issue. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a bug with the exporter? |

I'm a little surprised no one cares about this. I find the player editor very difficult to use (the stats never come out as expected) so I thought using actual exported ratings to create players would be a good solution.
For example, if I want to create a player with the potential to hit .300 with 40 extra-base hits, 20 homers, 80 walks, 90 strikeouts, I'd just need to look up a player who already did that in my league (with all adjustments and context already taken into account) and look at his player ratings from that season. Same for pitchers. But if the exports don't accurately capture the player ratings from that season, I'm out of luck. |
