Is there a way to adjust the minimum hitting or fielding ratings?
In my fictional league, there is no league, major or minor, that has the DH. Is there a setting that can make pitchers generally better hitters or batters better fielders? In a world where pitchers have to bat no matter what team their on, they'd generally speaking be better hitters than in real life. If anyone knows how to change that, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

pretty sure it's a rising tide effect.
check PCM -- manual and in-game. you can shift the entire distribution curve left or right, if you want. that world you speak of has existed, and that hypothesis didn't hold true, if that matters. they are different skills - throwing and hitting. then throw in the complications of fielding a position and how that affects what you are likely to see in hitting prowess, too. the greater requirements of the position, the more rare a great hitter will be there. they were possibly better than the current renditions? lol, i have no idea.. but they were never 'good' hitters as a whole. just as now, there's probably a few pitchers that would be good hitters, but their path of development didn't go that direction. ankiel comes to mind, but he was a flash in the pan on the pitching side falling off a cliff at some point.
