Any chance of getting the crack of the bat sound in the 3D view?

I would say that is the only loss in going from Broadcast to 3D view - that in Broadcast you here the bat hit the ball. When playing games on 3D I do find that at moments I missed what happened because the silence on the field takes you out of the action, even though you see it obviously many times more clearly on the 3D view.

It would be nice to add that one detail - along with the crowd sound to hear the bat hit the ball would be great. Since it is already there, and has been for some time in the default view, I would think it would be possible. Otherwise enjoy playing individual games even more now.

Something must be wrong with your settings somewhere, because the bat crack noise is defiantly in the 3d mode, as well as the occasional "safe". Haven't heard "yeeer out" yet though.

Crack of the bat works for me. I have not heard "yeeer out."

I don't know. I have game sound enabled. I hear the crowd. In broadcast view I hear the bat hit the ball but not in 3D. What other setting could be relevant? I tried it with the text-to-speech and even then you hear only the announcer and the crowd, never the crack of the bat. Any other ideas?

It just came back one day. As mysteriously as it had disappeared. Hope you get it back.

Mine ended up coming back out of the blue about five days later.
The odd thing I noticed (and I have no idea if this caused it) but I just happened to be playing a podcast in background on same pc when the game sound shut down. I refuse to test this theory again though

I noticed certain sounds come and go in 3D mode. Sometimes it'll go for stretches of hearing bat sounds and no crowd, then it will come back later. I hear the umpire on strikeouts but I never hear an 'out' call on bases, only 'safe'.
