Found This Game....
I was going through and de-cluttering my MacBook and found this fictional game I had back in OOTP14. I proceeded to import it to OOTP15 and then into OOTP16.
I might pick up where I left off. Although I might move one team out of Los Angeles, one out of Chicago and one out of New York. |

I'm trying to decide on something...
1) Expand over the next several years from 24 teams to 30 teams to match the MLB. or 2) Relocate the following cities: - Chicago (either Athletes or Colonels) to Indianapolis - Anaheim/Los Angeles to Portland or Las Vegas - New York (either Bears or Metropolitans) to a different Northeastern city T.B.D.or 3) See option 2, but I move into Canada for any of those city relocations. Thoughts? |

I think my plan will be this....
After 2026 season, I will expand to 26 teams (will think about where during the season) After 2040 season, I will expand to 28 teams (locations TBD) After 2055 season, I will expand to 30 teams (locations TBD) |

I like 32 teams and I have a rule no more than 1 team per city in my MLB team I expanded to 32 teams and I relocated the white sox and Mets and change the Angels back to the Anahiem Angels. Good looking league you have there

I also have HS and College feeders, but I might get rid of those, otherwise the sim time would be super slow.
I'm doing some quick testing as I had the league total modifiers all at 1.000 (default). |

I took another look at this game, but discovered the player ratings were off. Using 1-100 rating, typically a 60-60-60 pitcher is a solid pitcher, but in this case 60-60-60 is more of an average pitcher.

do you have pitcher stamina elevated? otherwise, the only thing that stands out is the elevated K's of your top pitchers. if the stamina is above 'low' that would make sense, or they just have higher k/9 rates. a combination of either could have this result too, of course. the rest can't be distinguished from natural fluctuation based on talent in the league without more info (this season as well as historical) -- not that i am asking for such info. it doesn't seem to be batter/pitcher warped in any significant way. assuming the extra K totals are explained by more innings pitched. |

it's scaleable to as many years as you wish, if you know the basics of insert/remove entire rows and "fill" (highlight 2 rows to repeat). it comes ready for 100 years, so you would have to edit it a bit. it's mainly for mining LTM, but it can easily be used for other stuff with some minor edits. on the worksheet i have min/max/average for various stats, etc. just need to update links to the 3 league-wide csv stat dumps with headers and comma delimited in ootp options. instructions are fairly verbose for those not spreadsheet literate. i'm sure it has more flaws than what i warn about in comments and instructions, but it gets you in the ballpark and saves you the time of making something similar. |
