Relievers in bullpen - status doesn't change

In two different MLB created leagues, I've had relievers I've warmed up for 2-3 innings but their status doesn't change from being "Cold".

I am on version 17.5 Build 43.

Can you please tell me how you enter the game? From the Play menu, the manager home page or the league schedule page?
