Rehab assignment?
I've got a couple of guys coming off the DL pretty soon and didn't see an option (e.g., under "Player transactions") to send them on a rehab assignment... how is that done?
Also, is there a link to the OOTP 12 user manual? Every link within the game points me to the OOTP11 manual. |

I don't think you can do it until they are ready to come off the DL. When that happens the option will be available it you right click on the player's name and then go to transactions and a rehab option should be there.

I thought that too, but I just had a guy end his stint on the DL (healthy) and when I right-clicked>Transactions, there wasn't a rehab option. I didn't know if this was a "feature" that never ended up making it into the game.

No that feature did make it into the game, I've used it, I did it just as it was explained by Sweed

The guy who wrote the last manual had to take time off for (I believe) health issues), so the manual hasn't been made yet. I think they're planning on having it done eventually though.

Does it have to be a major league roster guy or can it be a minor league guy? The guy I tried it on is a minor leaguer, so maybe that doesn't apply since he's already in the minors.

Yeah my guy was a major leaguer and yes I waited til he was healed the right clicked and sent him to rehab, I dont see why you would need to send a minor leaguer to the minors for rehab when essentially thats where he's gonna go anyways
