International Players--from the US
In the Established International FA thing every year, I'm getting players from the United States. What have I messed up in my world.xml file?
Also, the majority of those players continue to suck (like 20s and 30/80, even though they're "established"). The baseball quality of all of those nations is a 5, so that's not the issue. |

this might be under region (league structure) or league settings->players? where it shows nationalities and percentages of each for the various types of players created.
if you edited the world xml, i'd review those edits if you didn't touch this stuff in the settings. if it's in there, some sort of designation home region vs. "international" i'd assume. i'm not familiar with format though, but that's the obvious resulting problem -- can't distinguish league's home country(ies) from those that would be considered international, relatively speaking -- AND if not settings related above. It's up to you which Nations they come from, just click the edit button and a window opens where you can choose as many/few Nations as you wish.

Weirdly this does happen in real life. I've come across at least 15 to 20 guys that have been born in the US from parents of Latin descent that will circumvent the draft by moving to a Latin American country to be able to sign earlier and possibly for more money.
Also at least one instance of it going the opposite direction... One of George Bell's kids wasn't signed at 16 as a J2 Fa so he came to the US and went to a Jc and got drafted |

This is an occasional thing IRL - the Cardinals' Alex Reyes is from New Jersey, but went to live with his grandparents in the Dominican Republic as a teen so he could sign as an international FA.
