Markus owns the codes still so from what he said above looks like it will be business as usual and the game will go back to the old form of naming and be OOTP9 next

I hope that's supposed to be "uncategorically".

I thought categorically was similar in meaning to unconditional, and therefore there are no conditions in place to stop OOTP 9...

Sorry to interrupt, guys. But the lowly folk in the basement are wondering what, if anything, this means for Title Bout Championship Boxing....

There should be an announcement about that down in the basement before too long.

Absolutely nothin', since Sega never owned any of that.

(I think.)

So this means head to head, CATO integration, and audio will be in OOTP 9, right?

I think this is good news. Somehow, I like the idea of it just being Markus and Andreas doing the development on this product. In this case, I think smaller is better. We are a niche group that plays this game and I think Markus really understands that. I hope we won't be exposed to too many interface changes though...I've grown to like the interface for OOTB 2006/7.

May I second that. He went out of his way to help me, and I am grateful. Best of luck to you.

There's a saying "When one door closes, another one open's up" This may be a blessing in disguise(SP) I hope Marc stays around the forum. Good luck to Markus and the boys, I have a feeling some pressure and stress may have been eliminated.

Let me be one of the first to say that I really love this game and will continue to support it. I would also like volunteer my services in any way I can. I have a lot of experience with moding with-in the game so anything I can do please don't hesitate to call apon me.

Good luck to all involved!!!

Q: Who is in OOTP Developments now?
At this time, just Markus Heinsohn and Andreas Raht.
Just a note to wish you both continued success and to give you my thanks for creating a significant source of enjoyment in my life. I look forward to your future endeavors with great anticipation.
