Manual HOF Induction

Has anyone found a way to induct a player into the HOF even if he hasn't met the minimum stat requirments? In older versions of OOTP, I'd set the stats crazy high, then manually review anyone and induct them myself. I've tried to do this in 2006 but there's no option on the retired players list to do this.

Do a search for the player then right click on their name. If they are retired one of the options is to induct into Hall of Fame

This doesn't seem to work.

Hmmm. Doesn't seem to be working for me as it seems retired players don't show up on the player search screen. Even if I filter for their specific name.

Are you using OOTP 2006 or an older version of the game?

I'm using 2006. I'm looking at it right now and it gives me the option to induct Babe Ruth to the Hall of Fame

Can you post a screen shot? That will show me exactly what screen you are looking at.

hit your print screen button, then paste it into an image in paint. Save it to a file. You'll then have to post it to a website. Or, if you can tell me how you a searching for the players that might help too. I went to the player search / short list and was not able to find anyone on the retired player list.

I just select the tab for my league, select history, and then hit the retired players tab

All I do is type in the players last name in the little box by the magnifying glass in the upper right of the screen. It then gives me a list of all players with that name. Then I right click on their name from there and can induct them if I want too

Am I logged in as the commissioner?

Hehehe Seems that is the 1st question I am asking myself everytime I try to find something that someone else says is there and I cannot find.
